1. Type of site and number of pages

A one-page landing, a 5–15 page corporate site, an online store with a catalog and cart, or a portal with user accounts — the amount of work differs several times over. What matters is page types, not pages: 100 products use one template, while 10 unique pages are 10 separate layouts.

2. Design: template or custom

A ready-made template is fast and cheap, but the site looks like others and is slower because of unused code. A custom design is drawn for the brand and includes separate layouts for mobile, desktop and dark mode.

3. Number of languages

In Uzbekistan a website is usually at least bilingual: Uzbek and Russian, often with English for foreign partners. Each language is not just a translation but separate URLs, hreflang, sitemap entries and keeping texts in every language up to date.

4. Integrations

  • Payments: Payme, Click, bank cards.
  • Sending requests to Telegram or a CRM.
  • Delivery service APIs.
  • Syncing with 1C, a warehouse or other internal systems.

Each integration is separate work and testing, because the rules of the external service (for example, payment signatures) must be followed exactly.

5. Who prepares the content

Whether the client provides texts, photos and the product list or we prepare them has a noticeable effect on price. A site can’t launch without content, and content is most often what causes delays.

6. Level of technical SEO

The minimum is headings, meta tags and a sitemap. The full level is structured data, hreflang, speed optimization, redirects from the old site and readiness for AI search. Doing it from the start is cheaper than fixing it later.

7. Load and speed

Ordinary hosting is enough for hundreds of visits a day. A site with hundreds of thousands of daily visits, like a news portal, needs caching, a CDN and a zero-downtime deployment architecture — a different level of work.

8. Support

After launch you still need a server, SSL, security updates, backups and small changes. Agree in advance whether this is part of a monthly fee or billed separately.

Questions for comparing proposals

  • Is there an admin panel, and what can I change myself?
  • Whose name will the domain, hosting and code be registered in?
  • Which languages will the site have, and is hreflang set up?
  • Which integrations are included in the price?
  • How long after delivery do you fix bugs for free?
  • Can you show websites you built that are live now?
